Easter Story Scavenger Hunt on Good Friday
This year at St Mary’s we’re challenging families and children to “find” videos around Walthamstow Village about the Easter Story! It is designed to be socially distant and will take place between 8am-8pm on Good Friday (2nd April 2021), with the Scavenger Hunt starting at the Church Door.
There are seven locations you will need to find in Walthamstow Village. At each location, a QR code will be posted there, which, when scanned with your smartphone, will link to a video about the Easter Story. For the scavenger hunt, you will need to have a smartphone or app on your phone which can read QR codes, and you will need to have some mobile data to watch the short videos.
We hope this is a great way to explore our local area, get out of the house and learn the Easter Story as you do it. The Scavenger Hunt is just under a mile of walking and we think most families and children should be able to complete it in just under an hour.
A link will appear here on the morning of Good Friday with the Scavenger Hunt locations, but if you would like to receive the link automatically via email, click here and fill out our very short form.
