Book here to join our resident historians David and Jacqueline Baker for free tours of St Mary’s – Walthamstow’s ancient church and oldest building – on Tuesday 18 April at 12 Noon and again on Saturday 22 April at 2pm and 3.15pm.

Each tour is 50 minutes’ long, starts near the main entrance to the church and covers slightly different topics, with the 18 April tour covering some general highlights, the 2pm tour on 22 April focusing on ‘secret symbols’, and the later 3.15pm tour on 22 April highlighting the ‘quirky and curious’ features of the church as well as some of the people and stories associated with it.
