At St Mary’s Walthamstow, there’s something for everyone – arts, music, culture, marriage preparation courses, history tours, debt help, community organising – but the core of who we are is an inclusive, worshipping Christian community growing in love and in service to the whole of Walthamstow. This happens throughout the week, but our main weekly gathering is on Sundays at 10.30am and all are welcome.
Even if you’ve never been to St Mary’s – and especially if you’ve never been! – we invite you to become a part of Walthamstow’s longest-standing Christian community and ancient parish church.
Our 90-minute services are contemporary and always feature congregational singing and thought-provoking ideas. We have special groups for children and young people, including a baby lounge for children under 1, another group for children ages 1-3, and supervised groups for older children in the Welcome Centre (church hall) located just across the churchyard from the church.
Generally the first and third Sundays in the month are Communion and the fourth Sunday is ‘all-age’ worship (all generations together), but please note that this may be different around the major church festivals such as Easter and Christmas. You belong at St Mary’s Walthamstow – do join us on Sundays at 10.30am!
