Join us in St Mary’s Churchyard this Saturday 3 September from 10.30am to 12.30pm for free arts activities, as well as to learn more about the progress our builders are making on the regeneration of our ancient church.
Our very own Fiona Fouhy, a professional artist, will be leading a free art workshop for all ages, collecting prints and rubbings from nature, stone and brass which is found in the church and churchyard. We even hope to use some of these prints and rubbings in the printed and online materials we’re developing as part of our Creative Church regeneration project.
Carol Kirby from Borras Construction will also join us, giving updates on the progress inside the church.
