Book a place to attend a free tour of St Mary’s – Walthamstow’s ancient church and oldest building – on Tuesday 9 May at Noon, or on Saturday 20 May at either 2pm or 3.15pm.
Led by our resident historians David and Jacqueline Baker, each tour has a particular theme, with the 9 May tour exploring ‘Signs and Symbols’ around the building, whereas the 2pm tour on 20 May will examine ‘Quirky and Curious’ features of the church and the later 3.15pm tour will introduce the key people, features and stories across St Mary’s 900 years of history.
All of the tours are free, but you must book a place.
