We are delighted to welcome schools to visit St Mary’s.
We offer tours and visits for all year groups in support of an Arts, RE or History curriculum. Tours can also be themed around particular Church festivals and liturgical seasons.
Additionally, we have self-guided tours available for schools, and we are also happy to speak with teachers to discuss their particular needs and to customise a visit.
Our clergy are also available to visit schools for assemblies, lessons or for Q&A sessions.
Please note that we prioritise schools within our Parish, however, we work in partnership with other parish churches across our borough to ensure that local schools are supported.
Visits to St Mary’s are free, but we recommend a £50 donation per visit to help us sustain our community programmes, which are primarily funded through individual giving.
