Remembrance Sunday (13/11)

On Sunday 13 November, we’ll mark Remembrance Sunday at 9am (Holy Communion) and 10.30am in the St Mary’s Welcome Centre. Both services will be led by Rob Duddridge with a sermon from Revd Alan Moss.

It would be lovely to see you as we reflect on the violence and conflict which has shaped human history, and the peace to which Jesus Christ calls us.

In the month of November, we are also preparing to return to our regenerated church building by taking time to get to know one another better, thinking about what we have learned over the past two years and discerning how best to move forward in this new and exciting season in our church’s life.

This week, there will be no supervised children’s groups at our 10.30am service, but there will be a children’s lounge for self-guided play, and parents and carers should feel relaxed coming and going as needed. We hope to see you this Sunday at St Mary’s, though if you are unable to join us in person, you can watch our 10.30am service on our Facebook page.
