Our resident historians David and Jack Baker will lead free ‘Season of Remembrance’ churchyard tours on Saturday 13 November and Sunday 14 November at 2pm and 3pm.
There’s no need to book, just turn up at the church door at least five minutes before a tour is scheduled to begin. Tours are 45 minutes long and feature stories from the First World War and of the soldiers buried in St Mary’s Churchyard.
There is a 15-person capacity per tour so do try and arrive early! Please also be aware that tours cover very uneven terrain (and therefore may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility) and are weather-dependent.
