We recently celebrated our first year of the St Mary’s Music Hall – our fortnightly series of world, folk and jazz music – and it’s been a great success but we’re still working to make it sustainable in the long-term. To that end, we’ve got an exciting new Music Community we’ve created – a group of select volunteers who also get benefits like free tickets, free talks, the opportunity to meet world-renowned musicians and the chance to help shape our music programme. Also, did you know that the people of St Mary’s get £10 tickets to every gig? Just talk to a member of clergy, or to Cameron Conant, Ossie Lundie-Smith or Philip Brook after a service. We also sell discounted tickets at Froth & Rind in Walthamstow Village for local people who might not be involved with us as a church (but who we hope will become involved with us!).
