Today, we continue our ‘Spirituality for the Long Haul’ series by looking at well-being. Our service is led by our Rector, Revd Vanessa Conant, and features a sermon from Revd Adam Childs, Scripture readings from Fiona Fouhy and Charnelle Barclay and prayers and intercessions from Natalie Burwell. In commemoration of World Mental Health Day (10th October), we also have an interview with Liz Davies, a member of St Mary’s and a licensed counsellor, talking about mental health and well-being. (For additional resources, visit the Mental Health Foundation here).
While you can watch our pre-recorded service whenever is convenient for you by clicking on this link, we’ll be live-streaming our Sunday Service again this week on our Facebook Page at 10.30am Sunday morning, with portions of the service delivered live and other portions pre-recorded.
After the service, at 11.30am, we’ll have an all-church Zoom hangout until 12.30pm, and we’d love to see you, even if only for a few minutes. The link to this week’s Zoom hangout is in the weekly Parish email; if you’re not on our email list and would like to join us, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll gladly send you the link.
Also, don’t forget to check out our fantastic weekly children’s service, with resources for families. Access this week’s online children’s service here.
Finally, donations are our primary source of income and make church happen; if you would like to give a one-time financial gift, or set up a standing order, you can do so securely and in seconds here.
