Sunday Service (28/6)

Welcome to our service for Sunday 28th June – we’re glad you’re with us.

Today’s service is led by Revd Vanessa Conant and features a sermon from Revd Bill Donoghue, vicar of Cornerstone Church in Leyton, with scripture readings from Jack Baker and Brian Foxton, prayers from Dr Christine Checinska and musical arrangements from Jonathan Rathbone.

Today, Revd Bill Donoghue will be preaching about the heart of discipleship, and what it means to welcome Jesus; we’ve also included an additional interview with Bill about his background and about our shared community organising work which is motivated by our desire to follow Christ.

We’re also in the process of finding ways to slowly and safely open our building to a limited number of people, implementing social distancing and taking other safety precautions. We’ll share more over the coming weeks – and we share more in today’s service – but we can announce that we will be opening the church for private prayer from next week, Wednesdays, 9am – 10.30am, but we need volunteers.

If you can help, click here to sign up.

After the service, at 11.30am, we’ll gather on Zoom, and you can join us by clicking here. We’d love to see you, even if only for a few minutes.

Finally, if you’d like to give financially to the work of St Mary’s, you can do so now, securely and within seconds, on our website by clicking here. Donations are our primary source of income, and we’ve been so thankful for your gifts over these past three months.
