Welcome to our service for 7th March, the Third Sunday in Lent.
Today we explore the passage from John 2 in which Jesus expels the money-changers from the temple – a story that invites us to think about what justice looks like and how we can challenge injustice. Today’s service is led by Revd Adam Childs with a sermon from Revd Dave Edmondson, scripture readings from Josh Price and Charnelle Barclay and prayers from Natalie Burwell.
While you can access our pre-recorded service at any time by clicking this link, we’ll also be live-streaming today’s service to our Facebook page at 10.30am, with some portions delivered live, others pre-recorded. Join us on Facebook at 10.30am by clicking here.
We also have another wonderful online service for children and families this week which includes games, activities, teaching and songs. Our children’s ministry team – which is led by Jo Talbott – does a fantastic job in putting this weekly resource together, and we would really encourage you to make use of it with your children or with the children in your life.
Access this week’s children’s service here.
Finally, we’re so thankful for your financial gifts to St Mary’s, which makes church possible. Donations are our primary source of income, and you can give today – securely and in seconds – by clicking here.
