[UPDATE: In addition to our online Sunday service at 10.30am (which we always post here to our website and live-stream to our Facebook page), since September 2020 we have also offered one in-person Sunday service at 9am with the exception of the period of national lockdown. However, as of 20th December 2020, there will be no in-person worship services in our building due to the public health situation. While we plan to re-evaluate this on 11th January 2021, it is likely that our building will remain closed for in-person worship through January 2021 and into February 2021. Church happens throughout the week, but our main gatherings are on Sundays at 8am and 10.30am.

Our 8am service is reflective and liturgical – a smaller gathering in our side chapel that includes Communion and a short sermon.

Our 10.30am service is bigger and more informal with an average of about 200 people and a mixture of hymns and modern choruses, with usually a 15-20 minute sermon as well as a time of reflective prayer.

St Mary’s 10.30am service is relaxed and welcomes people of all ages, including children and young people.

Our 10.30am service also features a baby and toddler lounge in the vestry, and children’s groups for children ages 4-11 in our church hall (children begin each service in the church building and are then released to their groups about 10 minutes into the service).

Our general pattern at 10.30am is that we have Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month, with an ‘age-service’ (all ages worshipping together) on the fourth Sunday of the month.

St Mary’s is a diverse and inclusive church for the whole community where all are welcome, always. Whoever you are – and wherever you’re at on the journey of faith – you will be welcomed!
