Operations Manager (Full-time)
£34,000-£38,000 p.a. (Dependent on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and capable senior leader to oversee operations across our parish (St Gabriel’s, St Luke’s and St Mary’s). We are at an exciting time of transition and growth and this role has been created to support the Rector and clergy team in delivering an inspiring vision for our churches and wider community.
The successful candidate will bring experience of managing buildings, people and budgets. We are looking for someone is enthusiastic, creative and compassionate who enjoys working in a team. If you are someone who enjoys a challenge and who can both develop systems and think entrepreneurially, we would like to hear from you.
Operations Manager Job Description
Caretaker (Part-time)
£13,050 p.a. (21 hours per week)
This is a new role for St Mary’s and key to the success of our Lottery-funded ‘Creative Church’ project. For many people, the caretaker will be the first point of contact at St Mary’s, offering a warm welcome, preparing the church for hires and making sure the space is safe, clean and well-maintained.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who enjoys working in a dynamic and creative environment. The successful candidate will be reliable, hard-working and have the highest standards for customer care.
Marketing and Communications Officer (Part-time)
1-year fixed term contract
£12,500 p.a. (17.5 hours per week)
This new role is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and is part of ‘Creative Church’ project. We are looking for someone who can help us deliver the marketing of our restored and renovated spaces and its activities to the highest standards. Working with staff to promote our events programme both nationally and locally, the successful candidate will be familiar with traditional media, social media and PR.
The Creative Church project brings together visual and performing arts, music, dance and heritage and our beautiful building offers space for both community and corporate activities. The successful candidate will help us identify sources of income, be the first point of contact for potential partners and raise our profile locally and across London.
