Welcome to Vespers for 29th July – the last in our series called, ‘The City is my Monastery’, based on a book of the same name by Revd Richard Carter.
Tonight, Vespers is led by Revd Vanessa Conant and the reflection is a collaboration between our own Dr Christine Checinska and Rajnii Eddins, a poet and artist from Vermont; together, they meditate on the power and beauty of remembering that we belong to one another.
As always, Vespers features a poem, two pieces of choral or instrumental music, a reflection and a contemplative practice to try. And Vespers is always for everyone, regardless of background or belief.

Vespers will be taking a break over August, and we would love to hear your thoughts on future Vespers as we prepare for the autumn. Have you valued this digital space? What would you hope to see in the coming months? Email us your feedback at vanessa@stmaryswalthamstow.org.
