Welcome to Vespers for 12th May – the second in our series on Benedictine Spirituality.
Over the next several weeks, we’ll draw on the work of Sr Joan Chittister, particularly her book, ‘Wisdom Distilled from the Daily: Living the Rule of St Benedict Today’ in our Vespers gatherings, and this evening we’ll focus specifically on receiving advice and listening with the ‘ear of our heart’, which is a phrase that comes directly from the Rule of St Benedict.
