Vespers – our weekly contemplative gathering which we hold every Wednesday at 7.30pm in the St Mary’s Welcome Centre – will return on 7 September after a month’s break.
We look forward to welcoming you back as we continue our Christian mystics series, reflecting on what we can learn from people of deep prayer, faith and insight.
Vespers is 40 minutes of stillness and contemplation for everyone. It features two periods of quiet, a reflection, two pieces of choral or instrumental music, a poem and a closing blessing. And though we draw on over a thousand years of Christian contemplative practice, it’s always for everyone, regardless of background or belief.
