Join us for St Mary’s Christmas Festival on Saturday 29th November 2025, 10am-5pm; the festival will include a craft market, refreshments and family activities in and around St Mary’s, including a Santa’s Grotto and Children’s Zone in the St Mary’s Welcome Centre, located across the churchyard from the church.

We’re once again partnering with The Creative Side of London to bring in dozens of artisans and makers to set up in the church, allowing you to find the perfect gift for a friend or loved one this Christmas. Our Ruttle & Rowe cafe will also be selling coffee, tea, pastries and light lunches throughout the day, and we’ll have additional vendors selling mulled wine, mince pies and other food and drink. And our friends from the Walthamstow Toy Library will be running the Santa’s Grotto and Children’s Zone in the Welcome Centre.

There will also be some special surprise guests outside St Mary’s Church, in our courtyard, as well as a brass band playing carols, local choirs singing and wreath-making workshops (booking required) in the Welcome Garden, which is located behind the Welcome Centre.
