Exhibition Space

Our Exhibition Space contains a permanent history display and also hosts special exhibitions.

From 1-16 June 2024, St Mary’s will be part of the E17 Art Trail and will host work by renowned artist Nancy Willis in our Exhibition Space. Nancy’s practice includes painting, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media and often reflects her experiences as a disabled woman. She recently had work featured in the ‘Women in Revolt!’ exhibition at the Tate Britain.

From 1-16 June, the Exhibition Space will be open Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm; Saturday, 11am to 5pm; and Sunday, 12pm to 5pm.

After initial funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are currently looking for ways to make our arts and culture programme financially sustainable in the longer term, and would welcome a conversation with arts funders, local businesses or individual donors about how we might collectively keep St Mary’s and our Exhibition Space open as a Creative Church for a Creative Community.
