‘Carols by Candlelight’ is our second carol service of Advent and will take place on Sunday 17 December at 6pm; it features a 40-person choir led by St Mary’s Musical Director Jonathan Rathbone alongside congregational carols and a short reflection.

The event is not ticketed, but do arrive early, as seating is limited and the service is usually well attended.

At the service, we will also be collecting money for St Mary’s, as we rely on your regular donations to keep our building open as a safe, warm space during the week. Your donations also fund our community work and other ministries, from managing the largest green space in Walthamstow Village – which was named London in Bloom’s Churchyard of the Year 2023 – to providing practical and pastoral support to some of the most vulnerable people in our area through our Walthamstow Welcomes cafe.
