On Sunday 20 August, we’ll celebrate Holy Communion at both 9am and 10.30am, with children’s activity packs available at 9am. Revd Vanessa Conant will lead and preside and Natalie Burwell will preach as we continue our Summer Series on the ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus, this week exploring Jesus as the resurrection and the life.
On Sunday 9 July, we’ll celebrate Holy Communion at 9am with a Morning Worship service at 10.30am. This Sunday, Revd Jill Mowbray retires from the Diocese and will preach at both services; Revd Vanessa Conant will lead.
On Sunday 5 February, join us for Holy Communion at 9am or 10.30am as we continue our series ‘Being Church’, looking at serving.
On 22/1, join us for a 9am service of Holy Communion or for a 10.30am Morning Worship service with children’s groups provided. Revd Vanessa Conant will lead and preach at both services, and we’ll begin a new series exploring ‘Being Church’ with, this week, a focus on worship.
On Sunday 8 January, we’ll celebrate Epiphany at two services in our ancient building: a quieter 9am Holy Communion and a 10.30am Morning Worship service with activities for children as well as a baby and toddler lounge.
On 11 December, we’ll celebrate Gaudete Sunday by reopening our ancient building to the whole community. Join us for Holy Communion at 9am or 10.30am as Revd Dave Edmondson leads, Ven Elwin Cockett presides and Revd Vanessa Conant preaches. And then at 6pm, come back for Orchestral Carols, though be sure to arrive early in order to get a seat!
On Sunday 6 November – the third Sunday before Advent – we are pleased to welcome Revd Rob Merchant, who will preach for us at our 9am and 10.30am services of Holy Communion in the Welcome Centre.
This Sunday marks the end of the long liturgical season of Ordinary Time as we celebrate All Saints Sunday on 30 October with two services in the St Mary’s Welcome Centre: a 9am Holy Communion service and a 10.30am Holy Communion service.
