The First Sunday of Christmas (31/12)

On the first Sunday of Christmas – New Year’s Eve – we will gather at 10.30am to share Holy Communion in a service for all ages. Revd Alan Moss will lead and preside, and Revd Vanessa Conant will preach.

In the Church calendar, Christmas is not just a day, but a season that lasts until either Epiphany (6 January) or Candlemas (2 February). This Sunday, we will explore what it means to stay with the Christmas story, even as many begin to put away their Christmas decorations.

Please note that this week we have just one service at 10.30am rather than our usual two services, and we won’t have supervised children’s groups. However, the service will be geared for all ages alongside having a Baby Lounge set up in the South Vestry for parents and carers to come and go as needed. For those unable to join us in person, we’ll livestream this week’s service to our Facebook page.

We hope to see you this Sunday at St Mary’s!
