This year we’re celebrating 10 years of Vespers: a quiet space on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm for people to explore contemplative practice, learn how to pray or simply sit in silence.

Drawing on a wide range of ancient Christian contemplative practices, Vespers – which is now held on the first Wednesday of every month in our ancient building, with this month’s meeting on 3rd June –, Vespers has always been a community of learning and practise for everyone, regardless of background or belief.

Our intention has always been to provide an inclusive space in which people can explore the riches of the Christian tradition in a gentle and open way. Whether you’ve attended Vespers regularly over the years, or have never been, we would love to see you Wednesday 3rd June at 7.30pm in Walthamstow’s ancient church.
